Where to Eat
A Chippewa fan favorite and there’s no doubt about it. Max’s Bistro and Bar have some of the best food in town and their beverage selection is great. You haven’t had seafood pasta until you’ve tried theirs. We’ve kept going back to see if there’s anything not to like and we haven’t found a single thing.
We ate their reuben sandwich one time and now we still think about it. Their pizza is also second to none in town and they have a special every week Tuesday through Friday from 4 to 6 pm. Their free popcorn is the perfect saltiness and it is walking distance to downtown Chippewa Falls. A local favorite and one of the best restaurants in town.
If I could marry a restaurant it would be this one. Their staff is so attentive, their food is always delicious and they have fresh squeezed orange juice. There’s no better match for me. With love, GO <3

When I saw the Ritz for the first time I knew I had to go there. The casual patio furniture just makes sense for this down-to-earth river view bar. They just finished remodeling their outdoor space and it is NICE. Definitely check it out if you’re in the area!
Someone said this place has the best bloody mary in town if you mix the garlic and the dill vodka and it totally wasn’t us… we just heard that somewhere… But seriously, great drinks and great vibes, their rooftop patio in the warm months can’t be beat.
