The 33,000 acre Chippewa County Forest offers a vast space perfect for hunting. Formed from the Wisconsin Glacier, the forests consists of Oak, Aspen, and hardwood trees. The rolling topography offers an exciting hike through the forest.

Kemper’s Woods is an 80-acre plot of woodlands donated by Dr. Charles Kemper to the Chippewa County Land Conservancy. There is gravel parking with a prominent sign near the road. Plus, two-track trail along the end of its rich oak forest and prairie.
