Chippewa Falls Winter Parade
Get into the holiday cheer at the Chippewa Falls Winter Parade! The Wonderland Parade and the after-party happen annually, and you definitely don’t want to miss out on this wintery fun. Happening December 3 at 6:00 PM, here’s what you can expect at the Wonderland Parade:
2022 Theme: Christmas Around the World
This year’s parade is inspired by the theme Christmas Around the World. Over 50 illuminated musical floats, walking units, and animal entries will walk down North Bridge Street where crowds will have gathered. The parade begins at the intersection of North Bridge Street and Spruce Street, then travels down North Bridge Street with the route ending at Spring Street.
We do recommend getting their early to snag spots because the sidewalks do get crowded quickly!
Parking
There are many public lots around downtown as well as street parking. View the full map to see time limits for public parking.
After the Parade
The fun continues even after the final float passes by! After the parade, head over the Riverfront Park for the official tree lighting ceremony which will be lit by Grand Marshal Dave Gordon, Santa, Mrs. Clause, and their elves. There will be Christmas music and caroling following the tree lighting. Stop in at the downtown shops and restaurants to warm up and refuel after a fun evening outdoors.
If you’re looking for even more holiday fun, head over to the Irvine Park Christmas Village to venture through the 125,000+ lights illuminating holiday displays.
