The Chippewa Falls Pool located at 1 Bridgewater Ave, Chippewa Falls is officially open for the season and ready to use! For just $5 per day or $25 for a season pass the Chippewa Falls Public Pool is the perfect spot to spend time for the whole family. The pool is scheduled to be open from June 6 to August 20, 2024.
Lake Como Beach | Bloomer

They are open from 6 am to 9 pm so there really is no excuse not to stop in for some ice cream and stay for some appetizers.

Any Chippewa Falls native eats and breathes Olson’s Ice Cream. Celebrating 80 years of operation, Olson’s Ice Cream is a staple of our town and has only gotten better over the years. You’ll not only find them at their store in downtown Chippewa Falls, but also in their food truck at many area events, Irvine Park or in their store Downtown Chippewa Falls.

The Main Scoop in Cornell is from a storybook. Quaint and small, but perfect just the way it is. The Main Scoop serves ice cream all summer long from 11 am to 8 pm daily. Check them out for ice cream nachos, shakes, local products, and more. Definitely worth the stop if you’ve taken the day to visit Brunet Island State Park.
Hike a Trail
Ice Age National Scenic Trail | Cornell, New Auburn
The Ice Age Trail runs right through the northern part of Chippewa County and there are three segments worth the hike. The most scenic is the the Chippewa River Segment as it runs right along the river and is only 1.9 miles long. The Harwood Lakes Segment joins it and cuts through the lush forests of Chippewa County. Next, the Chippewa Moraine Segment is definitely worth checking out. Consistently maintained by a dedicated group of volunteers, this trail is a local favorite for anyone from the State of Wisconsin.
Brunet Island state Park | Cornell
Brunet Island State park is a beautifully preserved piece of forest and waterfront. With a variety of trails of varying lengths and time, you could spend anywhere from 10 minutes hiking or 2 to 3 hours. A truly picturesque part of the county just waiting to be explored.
Irvine Park and Zoo | Chippewa Falls
Irvine Park and Zoo is known for a few things including the animals, Olson’s Ice Cream on site, a great picnic spot, and a great place for kids. But, did you know that Irvine Park and Zoo also has some of the areas best hiking trails. With forest trails leading to unique caves and even more trails to explore along the water, Irvine Park and Zoo is a local’s favorite place for an afternoon hike.
