Get Outside
Take a fall color driving tour through red, orange, and gold landscapes along the Chippewa River, Brunet Island, and Ice Age routes. Hike among the season’s color at the Chippewa Moraine Ice Age Interpretive Center or in the Chippewa County Forest, then hit the trails at Hickory Ridge Recreation Area for more than 14 miles of hiking and mountain biking with beautiful scenery. For a motorized adventure, explore over 23 miles of ATV and UTV trails through the forest. Hickory Ridge offers three connected trail loops with a range of difficulty levels for hiking and mountain biking.
Wineries & Orchards
Make a day of apple picking, bakery treats, corn mazes, and wagon rides at Dixon’s Apple Orchard, Bushel & A Peck, Connell’s Family Orchard, and Family Roots Orchard. Finish the day with a local pour at Dixon’s Autumn Harvest Winery, River Bend Vineyard & Winery, or O’Neil Creek Winery.
