BMW RA Chippewa Falls: June 18-21, 2026
There’s plenty to plan before you visit Chippewa Falls for the 2026 BMW Riders Association National Rally – Riding the Driftless from June 18-21. We can’t wait to welcome you to our community! The event is held at the Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds located right in the middle of town with nearby access to anything you may need.

Where to Stay
It’s important to find comfortable, relaxing hotels to keep you refreshed and full of energy for the event. We have a number of places to stay that are perfect for a restful night’s sleep while remaining close to the venue, including:
- Cobblestone Hotel & Suites: Just 1.5 miles from the fairgrounds is the Cobblestone Hotel, located in the heart of downtown Chippewa Falls. Take a stroll through the streets of Chippewa Falls, visiting a number of cute shops and tasty restaurants, and be sure to grab a bite at the built-in Wissota Chophouse.
- Country Inn & Suites: Located only 3.4 miles from the venue, this comfortable suite lies right on Highway 124, giving you quick access to Lake Hallie, Eau Claire, and the rest of Chippewa Falls.
- AmericInn Hotel & Suites: Also 3.4 miles away sits the AmericInn. Situated on Highway 124, as well as being a short distance from central Chippewa Falls, it is one of the most easily accessible hotels in the area.
- Riverstone Suites: Located just 1.7 miles from downtown, Riverstone Suites sits on Chippewa Crossing Blvd near Highway 124, offering easy access to Chippewa Falls attractions, spacious suites with kitchenettes, and convenient amenities for visitors.
- Holiday Inn & Suites: This hotel is 6.8 miles from the fairgrounds, but is situated right next to US-53 for easy access to anywhere in the area. Try their delicious cinnamon rolls as part of the complimentary breakfast buffet served each morning.
- Hampton Inn & Suites: 6.5 miles away is the Hampton Inn & Suites, another cozy hotel located near US-53. Their easy access to Lake Hallie, Chippewa Falls, and Eau Claire gives you a plethora of places to visit.

Places to Eat + Drink
No matter your flavor, Chippewa Falls has something to satisfy your taste buds. No matter where you want to grab a bite, you can’t go wrong! Here are a number of different places to try:
- Max’s Bistro & Bar: Located in downtown Chippewa Falls, just a mile from the fairgrounds, Max’s Bistro & Bar offers a variety of authentic Mexican options from street tacos to burritos. Their menu also showcases seafood options including shrimp linguini and fish tacos.
- Chippewa Family Restaurant: This classic diner is only 1.7 miles away from the fairgrounds. Serving all day breakfast, burgers, Friday fish fry, steak, and more, you’re sure to find something you love. Don’t forget to end your order with a slice of pie!
- Market on River: Located in downtown Chippewa Falls, Market on River is a large food court serving delicious choices from JimBob’s Pizza, TemptAsians, Valley Burger, and more. Owned by the Wisconsin Farmers Union, all food vendors are required to source a portion of their products from local Wisconsin producers!
- 1917 Lake Wissota: Located on the shores of Lake Wissota, this newly remodeled restaurant is one of the best to visit in the summertime. They have both an upper and lower patio, live music and great food with year-round lake views that can’t be beat.
- Wissota High Shores Supper Club: Get a taste of the northwoods and check out Wissota High Shores Supper Club. Featuring a 50-piece salad bar, a variety of specialty old fashioneds and true Wisconsin food such as prime rib, steak, cheese curds and more! Wissota High Shores is a must visit when coming to Chippewa Falls.
- Leinie Lodge: Home of the Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company, the Leinie Lodge is a great place to grab post-event drinks. Over 15 tasty beers are on tap and ready to drink, with many more available beverages as well. If you have some free time, be sure to schedule a tour of the old brewery for more information on the company’s history!

Things to Do
You’ll need some things to do during your off-time. Thankfully, Chippewa County is filled with activities and places to see that will leave you coming back for more.
- Visit Irvine Park & Zoo to see some cool animals, walk on scenic trails, or drive through our lush forests.
- Explore one or both of our State Parks! Lake Wissota State Park, located only 7 miles from the fairgrounds, is a beautiful spot to hike, kayak or relax on the beach. Brunet Island State Park in Cornell is a beauty for kayaking through moraines and enjoying the scenic forests in the heart of Chippewa County’s northwoods.
- Check out the many businesses in downtown Chippewa Falls, such as the Candy Shop, Collective Charm, and Bridge Street Art & Gifts.
