Brunet Island State Park
Deep in the Northwoods of Cornell lies Brunet Island State Park. Among its 1,300 acres of serene nature, you will find two campgrounds. The south campground has 24 sites with electricity. It is ADA compliant and offers a shower building with flush toilets. In the north campground, there is no electricity, but many of the 45 campsites are on the shoreline of the Chippewa River or its bays. This is a beautiful spot to escape the fast-paced world and slow down for a bit.

Lake Wissota State Park
On the shores of Chippewa County’s largest lake, campers find 116 wooded, secluded campsites at Lake Wissota State Park. 58 of these campsites have electricity. Also, there are showers, flush toilets, and a sanitary dumping station. Lake Wissota State Park has all the technical things you need for an amazing camping trip, but it also has a ton of fun activities. Rentals for kayaks and canoes are available for you to explore the beautiful lake. Hike the 11 miles of scenic trails that lead you along the shorelines of Lake Wissota. Head over to Ray’s Beach to cool off and enjoy the Summer sun. Lake Wissota State Park has everything you need for a fun and safe camping trip!

Otter Lake County Park
Located 7.5 miles north of Stanley on the north end of Otter Lake lies Otter Lake Campground. This is one finest fishing locations in Wisconsin. With a full boat launch, this is the perfect spot for those who want to get an awesome weekend of fishing in. Besides fishing, guests can utilize the beach, playground, and fish cleaning house. With 22 sites, this is a peaceful escape into the Northwoods.
