We went to Bloomer today! We decided to get up there and head straight to Bohemian Ovens for their tasty breakfast and some incredible coffee. These owners took over Bohemian Ovens back in 2017 and they’ve never looked back.
It was obvious when we got there that the people were local and the food was going to be delicious. One thing that was truly remarkable and unique about the coffee there is that if you get a specialty coffee, they have a laser engraver that has designs. I think that if I brought my nieces or cousins here they would have loved a dog or dragon engraved on their hot cocoa. What a fun touch! Something about a classic breakfast never gets old and that was the truth with our blueberry pancakes and omelet with hashbrowns. Delicious.
After our meal, we headed over to Bloomer Brewery which is 50 feet away and conveniently opens right at 11am. We bellied up to the bar and met our wonderful bartender, Tara. We tried a few brews including the Kin-key Lime Pie, a sour blonde ale with some whip cream around the rim for a creamy taste. We also tried the Early Frost, a winter lager (my personal favorite) and the nitro Coconut Toasted Porter which was very unique and tasted similar to coffee. We had never tried a nitro beer until here and we were pleasantly surprised.
If you’re anywhere near Bloomer, these two spots are must-tries on your itinerary. Great food, beer, coffee, and company you can’t go wrong when traveling to Bloomer, WI. We are lucky to have these businesses in the county and can’t wait for you to join us as we go on our next pocket-sized adventure!
