Hickory Ridge Recreation Area is one of our most popular mountain biking destinations. This is a memorable and challenging ride with 14 miles of trails that wind through quiet and scenic oak. All loops within the recreation area are expertly groomed by a local organization, Friends of Hickory Ridge. They keep the trails in tip-top condition so you can ride your best!
Looking for a flatter ride? Old Abe State Trail offers 19.5 miles of paved trails. Connecting Cornell to Chippewa Falls, this ride brings bikers through the beautiful terrain of Chippewa County. To extend the ride, bikers can continue south towards the Chippewa River State Trail in Eau Claire.
