From Cornell to Menomonie the Chippewa Valley State Trail System is over 76 miles of fun. While you pedal down the trailway, following the gorgeous twists and bends of the Chippewa River & Red Cedar Rivers you will be able to take in 2 state parks, 5 natural/wildlife areas, 4 lakes/ponds, and one of our favorite parts – 8 BREWERIES. Yes, that wasn’t a typo. So, no matter if you want to tackle one section of the trail, barrel through the whole stretch, or extend it into a several-day leisure ride, we have plenty of spots to quench your thirst within 5 miles of the trail. We’ve broken them down by each state trail to make for easy planning from most northern to most southern. GO enjoy!

As one of the oldest craft breweries in the country, they invite you to take a tour and learn their history as well as enjoy a brew or two while checking out their lodge filled with memorabilia and trendy merchandise.
- Chippewa River Distillery & Brewster Bros. Brewing Co. [Downtown Chippewa Falls Along River St.] – This downtown joint gives its patrons the best of both worlds, award-winning craft beer, and spirits. You’ll love the industrial feel of the tasting room as well as the view of the Chippewa River from their outside patio or rooftop deck.
