Candlelight Snowshoe Beaver Creek Reserve
Explore the beautiful winter wonderland of Beaver Creek Reserve at night during the Candlelight Snowshoe hikes hosted in January and February. This is an awesome way to get outdoors with the family to experience something new in Chippewa County’s beautiful North woods.
Friday, January 13 (All Ages)
Candles and moonlight illuminate the way as you explore Beaver Creek Reserve’s trails on snowshoe. A warm campfire awaits your return from the trails. No snowshoes? No worries. Snowshoes will be available to rent for both sessions. Rental equipment may sell out so be sure to register as soon as possible!
There are two sessions available to register for:
- Early Shift: 6:00 – 7:30 PM
- Late Shift: 7:30 – 9:00 PM
Pre-registration closes January 11. Walk-ins are available.

Valentine’s Candlelight Snowshoe Hike (21+)
Happening February 10m hike through Beaver Creek Reserve with your loved ones to celebrate an early Valentine’s Day! After your snowshoe adventure through the candle-lit trails, a warm fire, hot chocolate, and champagne await you at the end of the trail. Snowshoes will be available to rent for both sessions. Rental equipment may sell out so be sure to register as soon as possible! This is a 21+ event ONLY.
