Visit Cadott, Wisconsin, a small town known as the “Vacation Crossroads of Wisconsin.” Cadott’s story begins with Jean Baptiste Cadotte, who established a fur trading post in the early 1830s. The town’s growth was kick-started by Robert Marriner, the first permanent settler, who built a log cabin and sawmill in 1865. Located along the historic Yellowstone Trail, the town offers a perfect blend of outdoor adventure, rich history, and vibrant culture, making it an ideal destination for all travelers.
Visitors can explore Riverview Park along the Yellow River, golf at Whispering Pines Golf Course, step back in time at the Cadott Historical Museum, and enjoy local flavors at Yellowstone Cheese and Wicked Sweet Bake Shop. Cadott is also a major destination for live music, hosting popular events like Rock Fest, Hoofbeat, Force Fields, and OneFest each year. With its scenic surroundings, historic sites, and high-energy festivals, Cadott offers an experience that stands out among Wisconsin’s small towns.
