Round Lake County Park is the place to go swimming or have a family picnic! This day-use park has one of the finest natural beaches in the County and is one of our newest county parks. It is located on 216-acre Round Lake, in northwestern Chippewa County, Township of Sampson, on 117th Street. Drinking water, restroom facilities, and changing areas are available to the public. You can reserve the pavilion for small or large gatherings. Round Lake is the perfect place for catching walleye, musky, and panfish, with a boat launch available. The park is located just off STH 40 east of New Auburn in the Blue Diamond area of northwest Chippewa County.
The park consists of a very large picnic area, multiple grills and picnic tables, pit toilet with changing area, and water fountains. The beach itself is very long with clean sand and a large grassy area behind perfect for sunbathing or watching the kids. The boat launch is separate from the day park and has its own parking lot, dock, and is ADA accessible.
