Free Fishing Event with the YMCA of Chippewa Valley

The YMCA of the Chippewa Valley is hosting a FREE fishing event January 18 during the DNR’s free fishing weekend, when no fishing license is required. Signature sponsor of the event is Kiwanis Club of Chippewa Falls.
Attendees should plan to park and meet at Ojibwa Golf and Bowl in Chippewa Falls (8140 136th Street) for an afternoon of fishing instructions on Glen Loch Lake and Reservoir.
FREE fishing pole, bait and jig to all those who participate (while supplies last). Set up equipment, learn the skills of ice fishing, and fish cleaning lessons throughout the afternoon All ages welcome
NEW THIS YEAR: Participants are encouraged to bring 1 or 2 non-perishable food items to be donated to Agnes’ Table Food Pantry. They will be on-site providing our attendees with free coffee and hot chocolate!
