Watercolor Still Life- Let’s Break some Rules!- Instructor: Karen Bejin

This is a 2-day class. Sat, June 21, 10am to 3pm & Sun, June 22, 11am to 3pm

Create a unique watercolor still life by adding some non-traditional techniques to your painting. Work on incorporating patterns and textures, vibrant colors and areas of white paper. Focus less on perspective and precise drawing and more on interesting selection and arrangement of your objects to produce a semi-abstract style. Bring objects from home and/or choose from the ones in class. We’ll begin with a couple mini lessons on color, textures and design, then ease into our main project. The instructor will provide a lesson packet, instruction and demos, and the watercolor paper. Artists of all skill levels are welcome to come and explore. CLICK HERE FOR SUPPLY LIST.
