Enjoy the sounds of summer at River Bend Winery & Distillery throughout the summer. Music is scheduled for occasional Friday evenings, Saturday and Sunday afternoons along with a featured food truck will be on-site to have some food along with a great glass of wine.

Vendors In The Vines: Artist and Maker Market – July 20, Sip and shop with local artists and makers from 11 am to 5 pm! Stay to listen to Hailey James music from 2 pm to 5 pm. Mi Mi Café will serve food from 11 am to 5 pm.

Hailey James is a talented singer/songwriter/performer/recording artist who hails from Cottage Grove, MN. She has garnered recognition as a 4-time AWARD WINNER from the Midwest Country Music Organization, receiving prestigious titles such as 2022 Female Vocalist and Songwriter of the Year, as well as the 2021 Midwest CMO New Artist and Song of the Year for her track “Wide Awake.” Recent achievements include playing the Vikings VS Chiefs Halftime Show at US Bank Stadium on October 8, 2023. Hailey has also opened for country music legends including Carrie Underwood, Diamond Rio, Crystal Gayle, etc. along with being able to share the stage with Dustin Lynch in 2021 at Country Fest in Cadott, WI which turned into a viral moment across all her social media platforms.

Adam Moe – July 21. 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm

Adam Moe is a fiddler and singer/songwriter based in Duluth, MN. In 2012, he started the folky-tonk duo Pushing Chain with a former musical partner. For the next eight years, Pushing Chain toured the US and Canada, playing venues big and small and gaining fans the old-fashioned way — face to face, one at a time. Adam has been featured on radio and television, and played some of the biggest festivals in the country, including the 2019 Woody Guthrie Festival and the 2019 Kerrville Folk Festival. Adam believes that good music can make strangers share a table, and he tries to prove it every time he plays.

Mark Cameron Trio – July 27. 2 pm to 5 pm, Island Vibe Food Truck 11 am – 5 pm

Minnesota based singer, songwriter and guitarist Mark Cameron has been active in live music for over thirty years. Mark began his performing career in the rich folk-rock scene of the early 1970’s and brought this influence into several bands he founded during the 1980’s and 1990’s. Today Mark’s focus is centered on crafting original Blues songs with strong melodies and memorable lyrics. The range of Mark’s material stretches the Blues beyond safe limits with a focus on “foot stompin’, butt shakin” music that is built for a live audience.

Island Vibe Caribbean cuisine…think Jerk Chicken or Pulled Pork served with plantain. This authentic Caribbean fare goes great with a chilled glass of River Bend wine or your favorite cocktail. Yum!

the foxfire affair – July 28. 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm

Daniel and Claire make up the duo, “the foxfire affair.” These multi-instrumentalists entertain with a guitar, mandolin, concertina, and other instruments to complement their varied musical selections. While trading off lead vocals and harmonies, they’ll span several centuries of music playing everything form Irish traditionals to sea shanties, American folk to rock, and a touch of original material. Not only are they married to one another but also to their craft. They love performing and sharing music with others. Before marriage and kids, the two performed in separate bands and as fate had it, they ended up in the same band. Their love for music and each other grew. Once life set in, they took an eight-year hiatus to start a new generation of musicians who often join them onstage. Now with the kids growing, Claire and Daniel started “the foxfire affair” to return to their passion.

Anna & the Big Boys – August 3. 2 pm – 5 pm, Tasty Trolley Food Truck 11 am – 5 pm

2023 Country Fest Performers, Anna & The Big Boys, are here to excite. Playing folk, pop, and country covers from the 1970’s and beyond – you’re not going to want to miss this!

Tasty Trolley Food Truck serves up their famous Pulled Pork Super Nachos along with beef Super Nachos, Walking Tacos, and other treats like Ice Cream Sandwiches and Ice Cream Drumsticks. Their Lemonade Slushies are on point!

Bear Creek Band – August 4. 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm, Mi Mi Café Food Truck 11 am – 4:30 pm

Resonate Band – August 9. 5 pm – 8 pm, The Lunchboxx & Fluff Co. Food Trucks 4 pm – 8 pm

The rhythm is rock solid, the band is tight, and the tunes are probably your favorite songs. Resonate’s powerful vocal duo of Micah Uttecht and Calianna Bauer will blow you away. Jaden Uttecht (drums), Madi Rassier (guitar) and Lydia Rassier (bass) are the other local teens who are quickly making a name for themselves. Resonate is passionate about making music and they’re sure to entertain. These 2023 Rockonsin finalists have played venues across the state, including SummerFest, regional resorts, wineries and the Northern Wisconsin State Fair. Resonate’s feel-good family friendly show leaves everyone in earshot with a smile on their face.

Noah James Hittner – August 10. 2 pm – 5 pm, Mi Mi Café Food Truck 11 am – 5 pm

Despite being raised the son of a local Country-Rock legend, Noah procrastinated for well over three decades before finally picking up the guitar to begin the new year in 2009. Influenced by everything from folk-rock to hip-hop, Noah has recorded and released several albums which blend the singer-songwriter, acoustic, rock, urban, and electronic styles into a singular Acoustic-Tronic genre. This collage of influences creates a sound that begs listeners to feel something. Currently based out of Madison, WI and regularly touring the Midwest, Noah performs with the use of a looper pedal and various effects, creating a wildly entertaining, full-band sound.

The Other Brothers – August 11. 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm, Ne-Ne’s Tacos Food Truck 11 am – 4:30 pm

The Other Brothers Band began as a collection of seasoned veterans to the Chippewa Valley music scene who’d graced the stages of “other” local favorites over the past 30 years. Sporting a classic rock format, tight vocal harmonies & outstanding musicianship, the Other Brothers are a “listeners band” to which you can dance.

Hello, we are Ne-Ne’s Tacos! We started as a family-owned taco truck. We make authentic Mexican food and are expanding to a couple restaurant locations in 2024!

Emm K is alternative rock indie singer/songwriter who started her career at a young age. She started writing at 8 years old and wrote guitar accompaniment shortly after. Performing since her early teenage years, her stage presence and her watercolor genre voice captures a wide audience. She is able to bring people together of all walks of life with her wide variety of covers; often older than she is. Emm Ks metaphorical lyrics peel back what’s often unshared and spotlights the sonder moments. her songwriting.

Maple Ridge – August 18. 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm, Mi Mi Café Food Truck 11 am – 4:30 pm

Maple Ridge began in 2018 when several musicians who had enjoyed jamming together for many years decided to form their own band. The group enjoys playing traditional bluegrass as well as old-time, gospel, and fiddle tunes. They are influenced by such bluegrass greats as the Stanley Brothers, Flatt and Scruggs, the Carter Family, Ola Belle Reid, Doc Watson, Elizabeth Cotton and others. Band members have their roots in Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, and Menomonie.

Jim Phillips Trio – August 24. 2 pm – 5 pm, Tasty Trolley Food Truck 11 am – 5 pm

The “JP3” features Jim on guitar and vocals, with Robert Scarseth (guitar, vocal) and Aleks Sternfeld-Dunn (stand-up bass, vocal). They perform jazzy interpretations of folk rock, Americana, and alternative pop covers, as well as original songs from Phase I – the debut album from the Jim Phillips Project.

Hap & Hawk – August 25. 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm, Little Red Food Truck 11 am – 4:30 pm

Hap and Hawk are a duo consisting of John Lynch on vocals and rhythm guitar and Mike Schlenker on lead guitar and vocals. Their Neo-traditional Country and Americana style transcends stereo type. Their one of a kind performances are simple and engaging as they weave their music and storytelling through the decades of their experiences, singing and playing not only in the Midwest, but across the country. Schlenker’s free-wheeling blues, rock, and country guitar swagger blends seamlessly with Lynch’s experienced and emotional vocal delivery. With an obvious friendship on and off stage, Hap and Hawk are comfortable sharing their brand of fun with any and all listeners wherever they perform.

Jackson Taylor – August 31. 2 pm – 5 pm, Big Papa BBQ Food Truck 11 am – 5 pm

Jackson Taylor is from Medford, Wisconsin and currently resides in Weston, Wi. He covers early to mid 2000’s country music along with many originals. In 2018 he released his first single “Let the Night Begin” and in 2019 an EP followed, “Pray Like Hell.” In June 2022 he released the single “Painting Pictures.” Then followed by “Out Here” in 2023, along side a few acoustic releases planned for 2023 & 2024. Playing 70 different venues and close to 175 shows in 2022, Jackson likes to keep things real and authentic. You get what you see with this artist.

Big Papa is a family owned and operated food truck and catering business located just outside of Colfax, Eau Claire, and Chippewa Falls. On the truck they offer Pulled Pork, Chicken and Beef sandwiches, Burnt Ends, Ribs and Rib Tips with traditional sides of baked beans, coleslaw, Mac & Cheese, and Baked Potato.

Join us as we share the music of LaRose with Larry Nelson on keys and Andrea Christopherson on fiddle. You will hear their unique take on their favorite artists and songs, ranging from Neil Young to Jason Isbell; Iris Dement to Lucinda Williams, plus some original creations. Their years of experience become evident and their skills impressive as they share their love of music and fun.

Mike Bustin – September 7. 2 pm – 5 pm, The Lunchboxx Food Truck 11 am – 5 pm

Mike Bustin has been performing as a professional musician in the Midwest and southeast for over a decade. He performs on average about 225-250 shows a year. Mike has the ability to cater his performances to just about any clientele because of his vast song list, and the ability to read and understand a crowd. From The Beatles to The Stones. From Sam Cooke to John Legend. From Talking Heads to Death Cab For Cutie. From George Jones to Keith Urban. And everything in between. Mike performs every song with a level of authenticity that is usually only found in the original recording.

Both come from a deep-rooted musical background. For over fifty years Cathy has been a music educator and performer in Wisconsin . Jeff has been playing instruments since the beginning of time. He currently owns the Chippewa Valley Band Instrument Repair Shop.

Jeff James, Live Looper – October 5. 2 pm – 5 pm, Frybread Factory Food Truck 11 am – 5 pm

Combine one singer-songwriter’s fascination with the acoustic and electric guitar, a collection of guitar pedals resulting in an amalgamation of full band Folk, Blues, Rock, Country, and Gospel, add a social conscience, a hunger for the written word, and a love for singing and entertaining, and you’ve got Jeff James. With over 5000 performances, 9 albums, and a live DVD under his belt, Jeff has become an extremely versatile performer, adapting to whatever his environment throws at him. Jeff finds ways of capturing audiences with Live Looping – an on the spot band creation of what sounds like a full band – adding instruments one by one. Add silky but somehow gritty vocals (a cross combination of James Taylor and Gary Allan) which have been described as “unique” and “gripping” and you’ve found a show that people keep coming back to.

Come and enjoy an inspiring performance of original music with Songa. Singer/Songwriters and lifelong musicians Mario and Sherry Friedel will take you on a journey with their unique instrumental sound and soothing vocal blend. Joining the trio in 2023 is Catya, a musician skilled in multiple genres who has gigged from coast to coast. Multi-instrumentalists playing guitar, banjo, ukulele, fiddle, mandolin, harmonica, melodica and percussion, these artists will take you from folk to country, newgrass to blues to Latin jazz and back again. Rooted in the Nashville songwriting tradition, you won’t want to miss their honest lyrics and pure vocal harmonies.

Lead singer and guitarist of “The Best New Country Band” in the West-Central Wisconsin area, The Brady Luke Band. Brady Luke is bringing his amazing talent to River Bend Winery and Distillery. The Brady Luke Band has opened for National Country Touring acts such as Craig Morgan, Tyler Farr and Trailer Choir.

Eggplant Heroes is an Americana collaboration among Duffy Duyfhuizen, Max Garland, Joel Pace, Olaf Lind, Dan Zerr, and Lucas Fischer. Mixing original tunes from their CDs After This Time and Better Weather with songs by others (e.g. John Prine, Jason Isbell, and John Hiatt) and a gospel tune or two. Blending four-part harmonies with guitars, fiddle, and trumpet, Eggplant Heroes tries to bring a rich and eclectic musical experience.

Howard “Guitar” Luedtke – October 26. 2 pm – 5 pm

Say the name Howard “Guitar” Luedtke, and little more needs to be said. Howard is a staple in the Blues scene and with good reason. He has 40 plus years of playing guitar in both the Midwest and on the international stage. In 1964, Howard got his first guitar and today, when he picks up his Les Paul, he will transport you into the world of the blues. He’s incredibly talented and his passion and love for what he does shows.
