Chippewa County, Wisconsin: Local activities & entertainment
Exhibit – June 1 – July 12
Reception – Thursday, June 1, 5 – 7pm
Some people feel that black and white photos have a classic or old time look to them. Others think that the only time a photo should be in black and white is when you can’t make it look good in color, apparently, they have never heard of Ansel Adams or Brett Weston. There is also a faction that considers black and white classic, as well as contemporary and timeless. This show will give you the opportunity to see the same images in color and black & white, you may be surprised by what you see and what you think. Subjects will range from landscapes and nature to wildlife and people, the side-by-side comparison may open your eyes to a whole new way of looking at photographs….and the world. Guest curated by Steve Johnson.
