An event every day that begins at 10:00 am, repeating until March 23, 2025
This is a two-day art class at the Heyde Center for the Arts
10am-4pm
Learn about basic composition and explore color combinations while creating non-representational or abstract paintings in acrylic. Working from small value studies and intuitive design and color, we’ll create direct, playful paintings. Acrylic is an easy medium for exploration because it dries quickly, allowing for rapid changes, and because there are a multitude of mediums available to the artist to modify the texture of your painting. Some materials provided, see supply list for required materials. Please bring a sack lunch.
