Children ages 8 to 17 are welcome to come in for a 2 hour class to make a Cat Vase on July 11th, 2026 at The Imprompt in Cornell. 100 S 1st St. Starting at 12 PM to 2 PM we will work with the students on basic ceramic techniques to construct a cat vase of their on design. They will spend time designing, constructing, and cleaning up their vase. Once complete, the vases will dry for a few days and be bisque fired. Once fired, they can schedule a time with staff to come in and glaze their vase the following week or at a time of their choosing. Once the vase is glazed, we will fire it in the kiln one more time and your piece will be ready to pick up within 2 weeks.

Pre-Registration is REQUIRED. Class minimum is 3 people. Sign up as soon as possible as seats will be limited. Refunds will be made if we cannot make the class minimum.

Pricing: $60 per student paid at time of registration.
