Join in the fun in the annual Candlelight Ski and Sledding at Brunet Island State Park in Cornell. This year’s event takes place (weather permitting) Saturday, Feb. 15 with sledding from 3-5 pm and cross country skiing and snowshoeing from 5-7 pm.

Visitors are invited to take part in the winter activities at the beach area picnic pavilion. Fireplaces will be stoked and roaring to warm up, with hot refreshments and hot dogs being served.

Normal park fees have been waived for the community gathering. People are welcome to bring their own equipment but skis and snowshoes are available for use.

No pets are allowed. Contact the park office at 715-239-6888 for trail conditions.
