Trick-or-Treating: 4:00-6:30 pm. Calling all ghosts, vampires, and superheroes of the night! Join Beaver Creek Reserve for a spook-tacular evening out. Trick-or-treat around paved Storybook Hiking Trail, decorate a pumpkin, learn about some of the creepy crawlies they have at Beaver Creek, and read a Halloween-themed children’s story before you meet one of their live animals.

Family-appropriate costumes are highly encouraged (for both kids and adults!). Register by Tuesday, October 28 to reserve your child a pumpkin, limited pumpkins will be available for those that did not pre-register. S’mores, candy, and apple cider will be provided. If weather does not allow for outside trick-or-treating, everything will be moved inside the Wise Nature Center.

NEW this year — Halloween Candlelight Hike 6:30-8:00 pm. After trick-or-treating, there will be a Halloween candlelight hike! This hike is about a 1-mile loop guided by luminaries. This is a self-guided hike and NOT a haunted hike, there will not be people stationed on the trail. Please note the hiking path is not paved/stroller-friendly. End the hike with s’mores and hot apple cider. If trick-or-treating is moved inside due to weather, the Halloween Hike will be cancelled.

The admission fee includes trick-or-treating, pumpkin painting (1 pumpkin per youth registration), and the Halloween Hike.
