What is Cyanotype?

The cyanotype is a 170-year-old photographic printing process that produces prints in a distinctive dark greenish-blue hue. Discover the history and science behind the process, followed by learning techniques for coating paper with the cyanotype solution, arranging a composition with botanicals and/or other objects on top, exposing the paper to UV rays and creating your own art! Watch in awe as your image comes to life with stunning details with the vibrant color of blue. No prior experience is necessary; this workshop is open to all skill levels. Supplies provided.
