The Wisconsin DNR will host a free fishing weekend on January 20th and 21st. The DNR wants to help share the fun and excitement of fishing with others! No license or trout or salmon stamps are required. You can fish in state waters where there is an open fishing season. All other regulations apply, including limits on the size and number of fish that can be kept and fish that must be released. You can not fish spring trout ponds during this weekend.
